101 in 1001 (2019-2022)

I’ve been doing these 101 in 1001’s for a while now, so I figured I’d continue with em’ because as you may well know, lists make my world go round! Here are the past few 101 in 1001’s I’ve done!:

This list isn’t complete yet–I’m still thinking stuff up, so I’ll be adding as I think up more!

101 in 1001 (2019-2022)

Why 1001?

Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple goals such as New Year’s resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities. To start your own, calculate the finish date here!

  1. Hi Farrah, Awesome perspective for goal setting…It’s much more realistic than yearly goals…

    1. Thank you! These have definitely seemed to work out better for me!

  2. Wow, I really, really like this shift in thinking and perspective! I will have to really give this some thought to make sure I have a mix of fitness and life goals on my list.

    1. I feel like I always have a ton of goals I’m working on, so this helps me to keep track of em’!

    1. I like having a longer timeline to complete them! A year sometimes feels too short for some of my goals. :P

  4. Love the idea of an (almost) 3-year plan as well as a yearly plan.

    1. Same! It’s easier to have both short and long-ish term goals this way! :]

  5. I love this idea! What a fun change up for goal setting and achieving

    1. Thanks! It’s been helping to keep me on track for almost a decade now! :]

  6. This is such a great idea! I need to try this. Thanks for the inspiration!

    1. Thanks! Hope it works well for you! :]

  7. Great idea! I have to write things on a ā€œhard copyā€ list or they disappear from my mind.

    1. I feel like that tends to happen for me a lot too (especially for short-term goals), so I stuff it into my bullet journal! :]

  8. Whew! That’s such a long, but awesome list! I think lists and goals are awesome. They keep you accountable and on track, which is so great and necessary. 1001 days gives you some breathing room, too. Good luck! I can’t wait to see how this goes for you!

    1. hehe, sadly it’s not even complete yet, but I’m sure I’ll eventually come up with the rest!

Thank you! I feel like the last 3 years went pretty well–hopefully this will as well! :]

  9. What a great idea! SO many lovely goals here for the next couple years. I should do this for the boys.

    1. That would be a lot of fun–so many milestones for them in the next few years! :]!

  10. I love this idea! I have a bunch of goal lists for different categories, I bet I could easily make a 101 in 1001!
Thanks for sharing and inspiring me and others!

    1. Yay! Let me know if you make one/have it on your blog! I wanna see! :] Best of luck to you on your goals!

  11. Oh wow, what a fun idea! I have a list of 40 things to do before I turn 40…and yeah, having a longer time line definitely means I forget to work on the list, haha! Oops!

    1. haha, I meant to do one for 30 before 30 and totally forgot about even starting one, so I ended up doing a reverse bucket list instead. Maybe I should try the 40 before 40…
