Toketee Falls

Welcome to Travel Tuesday! I’m back (virtually) in Oregon this month for a super short but pretty waterfall hike over at Toketee Falls!

Toketee Falls is only about 30 miles/40 min north of Crater Lake National Park, and we were on our way up to Bend (~2 hours away), so it was a nice quick stop.

Toketee Falls in Oregon | fairyburger.com Toketee Falls is located over in Umpqua National Forest. The trail is super short and is open year-round. It’s one of the most famous waterfalls in Oregon — about 113 feet in total height!

Please keep in mind that there’s no drinking water or garbage disposal on the trail, so be sure to bring water and pack out your trash!

(There’s a hole in the fence that we saw some people going through in order to get down close to the falls. I would recommend sticking to the trail as it can get really slippery/dangerous and can ruin the surrounding vegetation.)

My photos definitely aren’t as gorgeous as the ones I saw on social media, but I stayed on the viewing platform to take em’!

I love blues and greens. <3 The water looked unreal!

All in all, it makes for a nice little detour on a road trip and if you feel so inclined, it’s less than 7 miles (~15 minutes) from the Umpqua Hot Springs. (We decided against the hot springs since it sounds like it’s unfortunately become overrun with too many people who also litter/smoke.)
