He looked so defeated. :'(

(Soosh is fine — I decided to bring him to my parents’ house so he’d have somewhere new to explore while I was off at a dance workshop and because he’s ginormous, I forget he’s actually still a kitten and hasn’t quite mastered control of his bowel movements entirely yet. Suffice to say, he pooed in his carrier while we were in my car and proceeded to lay down in it and cry all the way to my parents’ place. For Tofu, we were switching out his allergy medications but that unfortunately reallyyyyy did not agree with him + I was greeted with a poopocalypse on the floor of my hobby room and massively explosive diarrhea all over the living room floor that evening. :'( He’s doing better now though!)

This crazy boy is now 11.6(?!?!?) lbs at 6 months! My poll was on how big we thought he might get (over-under 15lb). I think he’s gonna be >15…

aged to snag concert tickets to one of my favorite video games (cue my baguette outfit from when I got to sing the final boss theme earlier this year)! They sold out fasttttt so I feel super lucky to have gotten em’! I hope all the scalpers get the days they deserve though.

I also recently discovered that there are such things as video game music conventions(?!) so I’ll be going to two next year + will be meeting up with one of my friends from college there! :] (Probably a little-known fact about me, but once upon a time, I was very tempted to triple-major in college and have one of my music  major tracks be in researching the history of video game music. This friend used to goad me on to go for it, but I ultimately decided that I should learn to prioritize + stop trying to do everything all at once. Have I really succeeded in abiding by this? Not exactly, but I am a teeny tiny bit better at not spreading myself too thin now.)

Another recent joy in life = dance workshops/friends. <3

If we were having coffee/tea today, I’d tell you that…I’m going camping this weekend! I have not a clue where we’re going but since this is with my friend who does Search & Rescue, I’m just gonna trust (+ since I don’t know where part of my tent is, I’m going to try tarp camping for the first time — will report back next month)!

Totally random, but a mystery person has been leaving tiny Jesuses all over our office over the past couple weeks! He’s showing up outside office doors, atop bulletin boards in patient rooms, on top of the toaster in our breakroom… We have no idea who’s behind it but it’s been fun trying to guess! I wonder if the culprit will ever reveal themselves!?
