Have you ever had a recipe you really wanted to try making but couldn’t because you misplaced one of the key ingredients? No? Just me? Okay then. I blame it on all the moving I did over the past couple years. To date, I’m still trying to unearth several of the things Ilost during my last move–hopefully they’ll turn up soon!

In any case, for me, the ingredient was turmeric. I bought some in bulk at a market a couple years back and completely lost track of where it went, so when all the recipes for golden milk came out, I could only admire from afar because I was too cheap frugal to go buy more. I was originally going to try to make my own version of Golden Milk, but…the ingredients I had on hand had different ideas!

I’ve never actually had the Dole Whip at Disney land, but I have a feeling I’d like it a lot! I imagine it’d taste something like this (except, y’know, without the mango part or the tasty topping).

  1. Embarrassingly it has been close to two years since my last move and I have yet to find my juicer. Apparently I’m tenacious because I refuse to replace the juicer convinced I will somehow locate itā€¦ Soon :-)
Last night was not the best dinner around here. It started off with my saying to the child: taste this mango and see if it’s right. And then degraded into her entire dinner being mango. I had no idea she loved the mango. We will be making this :-)

  4. No, you are not the only one to lose ingredients you know you bought. And turmeric can get pricey!

This looks really refreshing, especially with the digestive blend on top. I’m sure the coconut goes nicely with the mango.
