Valley of the Goblins | @fairyburger Goblin Valley State Park is kinda in the middle of nowhere — I actually found it by chance when I was looking for a place to visit in between Arches National Park and Capitol Reef National Park, so it was a fun place to stop by!

There’s no actual “trail” here aside from the walkway down into the valley. It’s a fun place to wander through with lots of strange formations to check out. I saw a lot of kids here and they definitely seemed to be having a blast! (Good place to bring em’ especially if you need them to burn off a whole lot of energy!)

This was my favorite one–it looks kinda like a turtle!

I would recommend against climbing on the “goblins” so as to not potentially destroy anything.

There’s not too much shade here unless you duck behind the formations. This is the desert, so be sure to plan accordingly!

    1. Doesn’t it?! I don’t actually live anywhere near here, but it was cool to get to visit on my trip!
