Ultimate Coffee Date: December 2025

Welcome to December’s Ultimate Coffee Date! I had so, so many plans for this year, but there have been a whole lot of wrenches thrown in.

Ultimate Coffee Date: December 2025

He likes to sit on me so I can’t go anywhere. ❤️

If we were having coffee/tea today, I’d tell you that…there’s a cute craft space that opened up recently kindasorta close to m + I made some holiday postcards and 2 little bracelet/bag charms there!

(There’s something so satisfying about all those colors of beads! :D )

If we were having coffee/tea today, I’d tell you that…I went climbing with my friend again out in Pinnacles National Park! :D

(This looks a lot more impressive than it actually was as far as climbs go, but props to my friend for making this/me look so epic!!)

If we were having coffee/tea today, I’d tell you that…I took my family to watch The Monkey King opera in SF over the weekend! It’s a beloved/famous Chinese tale (Journey to the West) and I think they did a great job of preserving the message from that while blending western/Peking opera + Chinese instruments.

I think this is the first time Mandarin has ever been sung in an opera in the U.S. The costumes , puppetry, and the staging were beautiful (one of my favorites = the celestial horses).

  • Do you have any holiday plans?
  • I missed doing My Month Is Booked earlier this week, but am thinking of moving it to the last Monday of the month so it matches more with that month’s reads!

  1. That climb definitely looks very epic! Wow! I love the holidays and how packed they are with everything. So many plans all month including baking, the nutcracker, brunch with santa, the kids holiday concerts at school, and more.

    1. It was a fun adventure! :D

I think I’m coming up on 72 books read this year so I better get to writing!

    1. Thank you! :]

That’s awesome! I’m hoping to make more handmade cards next year. :D

  7. That pic is the definition of epic! I agree with the beading project…all those colors emit total happiness :-)

    1. Agree! :D Inspires me to decorate my hobby room (a work in progress for the last few years, haha — maybe next year will finally be the year that I do it!)!

  8. Your pup is so cute! Mine love to sit on me, too, to impede my movement.

I am going crafting with my mom today and I am so excited!

We have plans to see the lights via catamaran, a few holiday pop up bars, and a cookie baking day. Then it’s off on a cold weather vacation, which is a huge treat for us.

    1. Aww, cute!! :D Mine likes to insist on pats so he parks on me to make sure I have no other choice, hehe.

I hope you had fun!! :D!

  9. I suspect you’re being modest because that does look like an epic climb and not for the faint of heart!

I do love the colors you used in both of your bracelets. Very pretty!
