Berry Protein Smoothie

A couple years ago, we got a Magic Bullet (not, as Bel pointed out to me, to be confused with the adult toy of the same name). It is indeed rather magical, and we use it mainly to make smoothies. They are freaking amazing and it takes about 2 minutes. Somewhere along the course of the life of the Magic Bullet, my dad calculated that we needed to make about 40 more smoothies until we broke even with the cost of the Magic Bullet (if you take into account the ingredients we need to buy to make the smoothies and such). I think we’ve well surpassed that by now. :O

Berry Protein Smoothie

Ingredients:
-1 banana, sliced
-handful of frozen berries
-1 scoop protein powder
-soy milk
-1 scoop flax seed

Instructions:
1) Since I like to have to wash as little as possible, I just broke the banana into pieces with my hands and stuck it into the cup.
2) Add the frozen berries, protein powder (I was using my brother’s Cookies & Cream one from Walmart(?) since he wasn’t around to use it), soy milk, and flax seed.
3) Blend for 30 seconds (at the most; 10 seconds usually does the trick).
