Berry Blast Smoothie

Welcome to our weekly Foodie Friday link up! I’m linking up with Montana from Pretty Lil Mudder, Annmarie from the Fit Foodie Mama, Emily from Whatever Floats Your Oats, and Esther from Chocolate Runner Girl to create awesome healthy recipes each week! Today’s theme = smoothies! Make sure you hop around to check out all the amazing recipes in this link up and feel free to add your recipes as well!

If you’ve followed me on instagram for a while, this picture might look somewhat familiar! I made it ages ago and somehow never managed to get it into a post until now. (I was actually saving it to be one of my reserve posts for when I finally, finally switched to self-hosted, but since that clearly hasn’t happened yet, we’re just gonna have to go with it.)

Berry Blast Smoothie

Ingredients:
(Pink/Bottom layer)

  • 8 oz. silken tofu

  • ~1/2 cup frozen strawberries, pineapples, mangoes
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

(Purple/Top layer)

  • 10 frozen blackberries
  • 1/4 cup coconut water

(Toppings)

  • KIND dark chocolate cranberry granola
  • chia seeds
  • unsweetened, shredded coconut

Instructions:

  1. Blend each layer separately and pour into a cup! If you have excess of either…just drink it. :O

    1. Thank you! I haven’t done a layered smoothie in a while, but once summer hits again and more fruits are at my disposal, I think I’m gonna start that up again! <3
