4 Frugal Toast Variations

Welcome to Foodie Friday! I’m linking up with Annmarie from the Fit Foodie Mama, Esther from Chocolate Runner Girl + Jess from Hello To Fit to create awesome healthy recipes each week!

Why hello, m’friends! In the interest of saving money and using up stuff in our fridge (yay for no waste!), this week’s theme is Frugal Finds!

I got a loaf of bread for free from Kroger due to a “Free Friday” deal, and our chickens and ducks at Please Save A Cat are all sorts of awesome, so they provided the eggs! <3

I also found…

  • 1 pound of white button mushrooms for $2.29
  • 1 tub of Wholly Guacamole Three Chili guacamole for $1.45
  • 1 10 oz. tub of mixed greens (baby spinach, arugula, kale) for 99 cents

We had red onion, mozzarella, turkey pepperoni and pasta sauce left over from another kitchen experiment, so I used those in here too! (You’ll get to see the fruits of our labor for that in about a month! :] )
