Martina’s Kitchen Mix

My apologies for my absence on this blog! There’s been a lot going on lately, mostly in the form of hospital service, but I officially finished my very last block of inpatient service last week, and I finally sent out my job applications yesterday + have a couple phone interviews pending!

I only really know two of Martina McBride’s songs–Valentine and Concrete Angel, both of which I discovered back in high school. (This has nothing to do with this post other than the fact that she is the author of this cookbook and the fact that it was Valentine’s Day yesterday!)

When I make something delicious, I want to share it, which is a lot like sharing my music with my audience. Cooking is my love language.”

I can relate to that. :P Food is the way to my heart.

I’ve heard OF Martina McBride before, but I’m not actually sure if I’ve heard any of her songs! Then again, Google tells me that I’m probably too young to remember her in her prime music-making era :P

Same! I didn’t really listen to the radio back then, so I don’t quite know how I discovered the two that I know, but I like em’! :]
