Woh Bah Tong

My apologies for my lack of posts during break. I was renewing friendships and catching up on life with everyone, so blogging was on the backburner for a while. Now that I’m back in NJ though, I will return to writing somewhat regularly! (I’ll try to, anyway.) :D

I don’t know if I’ve ever talked about the magic that is sesame oil, but it makes everything taste amazing. *-* Be sure to add some, unless you’re allergic. ;_;

My dad is famous for looking through our pantry and refrigerator to see what we have, and then creating some kind of concoction with it. :O Usually, they are successes. This is one of em’! :]

Woh Bah Tong

Ingredients:
-1-2 packs seaweed
-sesame oil (drizzle)
-<2 tsp salt
-pepper, to taste
-2 tsp chicken essence
-frozen vegetables
-tofu (soft, sliced)
-rice cakes (e.g. the kind pictured below!)

Instructions:
1) Defrost vegetables. Wash seaweed, drain water, and fill up again.
2) Add salt, chicken essence, frozen vegetables.
3) Add sesame oil last. Bring to a boil.
4) Add rice cakes right before serving so they’ll still be crunchy.
*Takes about 10-15 minutes! <3!
