DIY Coffee Sugar Scrub

I haven’t shared a DIY skin care recipe in a while, so I figured I should change that up! If you want to learn how to make your own honey aspirin mask or green tea toner, make sure you go check those out too! :]

Much to the shock(?) of my former classmates and current colleagues, I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but I did get suckered into getting some ground coffee that smelled absolutely amazing (it was on super-sale).Ā Dulce de leche smells so amazing! <3

I didn’t end up getting into drinking coffee even through my boards study hibernation, so it just hung out until…now!

I’ve been seeing recipes for coffee sugar scrubs on Pinterest (e.g. my favorite green beauty blogger, Tianna @ Storybook Apothecary!), so I wanted to try making my own!

Mine’s definitely a scrub vs. a mask, but it’s wonderful for exfoliating and leaves your skin super soft and smooth! The jojoba oil, coconut oil and vitamin E oil are allĀ awesome deep moisturizers for the skin (hair too, so I may end up making up hair masks and leave-in conditioners at some point)! :]

  5. I’ve made a sugar scrub before! I’ve never used coffee though. I do like the smell of coffee but I don’t drink it either, so this might be a fun alternative.
