Ultimate Coffee Date: December 2015

It’s the last Ultimate Coffee Date of the year!?! (What is this madness?)

…Oh well. Pull up a chair/bean bag/whatever you like to sit on and come link and/or catch up on life with me! :]

If we were having coffee/tea today, I’d tell you that…I’M HOME!!! <3 <3 <3

This is the first time I’ve seen my family (or any of my closest friends) in over a year, so I’ve missed them a ton!

I’m headed off to Arizona tomorrow for another 2-week rotation, but I actually get to come back home to celebrate the holidays with my family this year! :]!!!

If we were having coffee/tea today, I’d tell you that…about my Thanksgiving, since I’m always playing catch-up! There was a whole lot of delicious food to be had! :]

Before we got to eat, we went to go take care of our mess of cats. <3

They like to try to make us believe that they’ve been starving for 2348720 years.

We found a home for our youngest addition (Hope!) the day before Thanksgiving, so we are actually down to 85 cats now!

Holly decided to opt for some sunshine with her afternoon nap.

Bonnie

Bonnie got tired of staring at us in the kitchen, so she went to lay down.

I was almost full on the appetizers alone! :O

#HappyThanksgiving, everyone! ? I’m on salad & mashed potato duty! Feasting to commence shortly!

Thanksgiving dinner (more like an in-between lunch/dinner, but close enough!) consisted of turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry orange walnut salad, and greens. <3

I’ll have the recipe up for that cranberry salad in about 20 days! :O

thanksgiving2015 If we were having coffee/tea today, I’d tell you that…a couple days afterward, I decided to decimate the weeds in the cat enclosure. Stuff here grows way too quickly, so I had my afternoon cut out for me. But look at my epic pile o’ weeds!!! Cat included for scale.

A shower never felt so good. :o

My week back at Please Save A Cat was an awesome time, although somewhat bittersweet, because I won’t be seeing any of them until somewhere in April of next year. That entire week was filled with goodbyes, and truth be told, it made me really sad. :[

…But I’m super thankful for technology and the fact that I can still keep in touch with them, and hooray for getting to see my friends and family back in CA again too!
