DIY Chocolate Peanut Butter Instant Oatmeal

Welcome to our weekly Foodie Friday link up! I’m linking up with Annmarie from the Fit Foodie Mama + Esther from Chocolate Runner Girl to create awesome healthy recipes each week! This week’s theme is Choctoberfest!

Oatmeal = one of my favorite healthy breakfast foods. I have a tonnnn of it in my apartment and since I’m always on a mission to finish eating everything in my apartment before buying anything new, I figured I’d do something about it! I received free products in exchange for recipe development; all thoughts + opinions are mine and mine alone!

I’ve always wanted to try making my own instant oatmeal–it’s so portable and convenient, but the ready-made packages are expensive by the unit and also often contain way too much sugar.

I like that it’s super versatile too! You can add whatever the hecks you want in it (I’d stick to dry ingredients if you’re planning to let it keep for a bit. I stored them in various empty jars that I had since hooray for reusable containers and less waste, but if you don’t have any, ziploc bags will do!

(If you haven’t entered the Choctoberfest giveaway, be sure to enter!)

I’ve made a number of recipes with Barlean’s Chocolate Silk Greens in the past, including:

It’s made of fair-trade, antioxidant-rich cocoa + non-GMO, with no added sugars (just sweetened with stevia) and is also dairy, soy, + gluten-free!
