10 Recipes For National Guacamole Day

Welcome to our weekly Foodie Friday link up! I’m linking up with Annmarie from the Fit Foodie Mama, Esther from Chocolate Runner Girl + Jess from Hello To Fit to create awesome healthy recipes each week! To honor National Guacamole Day (aka one of the best food holidays ever,) this week’s theme = Guacamole!

I love and adore avocados, and if you’ve ever seen the following quote, you’d have the basis of my life:

I want a forest of avocado trees someday for my future backyard.

…but quite unfortunately, the two recipes I have for guacamole on this blog don’t have the prettiest of pictures (they were from wayyy back in the day), and the avocados at the grocery store have been frighteningly expensive, so I’m just going to be sharing other guacamole/guacamole-related recipes, plus a recipe I had for guacamole toast from back in…2012.

(In case you’re wondering, I love it just as much now as I did back then!)

  1. Your guacamole toast looks delicious– I wish I had some avocados on hand because I would definitely be whipping it up for breakfast! Avocados have been super pricey here, too. :(

  4. I shouldn’t be surprised that there’s a National Guacamole Day (there seems to be a day for almost anything and everything). This is one national “holiday” that I’ll definitely be celebrating.

  16. Guacamole, ole! Guacamole is THE BEST dip. Period. I would love to have some avocado trees in my backyard as well. And apples, and lemons (we have one lemon tree so far! on our balcony), and figs…etc.
